IRS Letters and "Postcard" 990 Form
Many chapters have received a
notification letter from the IRS stating that under new regulations they will
now have to be filing a 990 report. Previously, filing was not necessary if
receipts were less than $25,000. Now organizations with less than that amount
will have to file what is referred to as the "Postcard" 990.
Presently the IRS is still in the process of getting this together. It is now
expected to be ready in the next couple of weeks. When it is ready National
FCCLA will post the information on their website -
www.fcclainc.org.

You can now view an interactive online
version of the STAR Events manual
