State Project 2010 - "Children's Miracle Network"

Goal:

- Use the planning process to develop and carry out the state project
- Apply for State Recognition
- Apply for National Recognition
Project Participation
Students will learn about the Children's Miracle Network and identify the nearest hospital to their chapter. By connecting with and understanding the needs and struggles of local sick children, chapter members will find personal motivation to lead and develop a successful project.
Fundraising Ideas
- Use the tear sheets that come in the packet mailed to each chapter
- Sell spirit links (paper chain idea where people and businesses purchase paper strips to add to the chain)
- Use the marketing material included in your kit to place donation jars in local businesses, go class to class, have a coin drive (change war) etc.
