State Project

Goal
Our goal is to get FCCLA chapters involved in our campaign to raise money for Share Our Strength.
- Use the planning process to develop and carry out the state project
- Apply for State Recognition
- Apply for National Recognition
Project Participation
Review Share Our Strength materials. Visit the web site. Take the No Child Hungry Pledge, Register you event with Share Our Strength, Make a plan and ACT.
Fundraising Ideas
- Organizing a bake sale, lemonade stand, garage sale
- Sell spirit links (paper chain idea where people and businesses purchase paper strips to add to the chain)
- Placing donation jars in local businesses, go class to class, have a coin drive, sell pin ups

Reporting
- Report your project to the State by using the follwing form:
State Project Reporting Form (2011) - Report your project to Nationals by filling out the 2011 National Program Award Application for any program you used for additional points.
Recognition
- All chapters who report will be recognized
