2007-2008 Executive Council

Abby Oliver
President

Hello, my name is Abby Oliver, your 2007-2008 New York State FCCLA President. I’m a 16 year old Delaware Academy student from district 8A and this is my 5th year in FCCLA. I’m active with my school’s student council and also with our swimming, basketball and softball teams. I love to meet new people, hang out with friends, have fun, run, and to be outside. To me, FCCLA is the greatest leadership experience because you get to meet tons of new people and build your leadership skills at the same time.

Music is my passion - playing the trumpet and singing in senior high band and chorus. Family is number one to me. They come first in everything I do. Alexis Morton

Hi! My name is Alexis Morton the 2007-2008 NYS FCCLA Stop the Violence and Co-State Project Officer. I am a 17 year old senior from district 3 graduating in June of 2008 as well as the oldest member on our council. My plan is to become a sign language interpreter in the future. My favorite colors are hot pink and lime green. I like volleyball, softball, car racing, and all types of music expect for opera. I have a good sense of humor and at times can be a little random. I love FCCLA it has changed my life tremendously. It has helped me dig down deep and pull out the leader that I was always afraid to be, in addition to increasing my public speaking skills. This organization has given me the opportunity to soar to new levels and the sky is now my limit.
