Awards - Honorary Membership

2010 - Larry Driscoll
Larry Driscoll has been a quiet supporter of FCCLA for many years. He has always been a proponent of students. In his career as a school business official, principles and other staff learned if you could proved students could benefit, he would work hard to find a few extra dollars to support a project.

He first became involved with FCCLA when he supported his wife, an advisor, as she attended various state/national meetings and chapter events. His involvement took on a more personal role as he attended state meetings and even a national meeting in California when his daughter was a state officer. It did not take long for him to see the positive benefits, opportunities, and leadership growth that FCCLA offered. He saw firsthand how the skills and training changed students.

His most recent involvement has been as a member, and now treasurer, of the NYS Foundation. He is working to provide new funding for the foundation so scholarships and leadership opportunities will continue for this life changing student led organization. We are pleased to present this year's honorary membership to Larry Driscoll.
