Bio:Hello! My name is Jackson Burhans and I’m from district 4. I have been a part of FCCLA since I was a little kid. I’ve been going to meetings even before I was a member, for about 10 years! I’m now a first year member and a Junior Leader. Outside of FCCLA, I am a part of the National Jr. Honor Society. I play many sports in my school, including soccer, basketball, and track. I even play baseball on a non-school team. My biggest goal in FCCLA is to become a National officer or travel to Japan like my sister.

Sarah Hughes - Assistant Trainer |
Hi! My name is Sarah Hughes and I am the 2011-2012 Junior Leader Assistant Trainer. I was the 2009-2010 NYS FCCLA Communications officer from District 4. I have been in FCCLA for thirteen years and plan to be involved in this organization for many more.
I am a sophomore at the College of Saint Rose in Albany, studying Biology/Pre-Medicine. Almost every class I take in college requires an oral presentation. FCCLA has taught me how to speak publically and how to stay calm in front of people. I look forward to passing on these skills to our future leaders.

Chelsea Wolfert - Trainer |
Konnichiwa New York State FCCLA! My name is Chelsea Wolfert and I am the 2011-2012 Junior Leader Trainer. Although I was never a JL, my FCCLA knowledge runs deep. I served as the 04-05’ Historian, was District 3 President, served in many chapter offices, and was the first person from NYS to go to Japan as part of the Japanese Exchange Program. If you haven’t heard it already, don’t forget to ask me why my FCCLA nickname is “Furby!”
Outside of FCCLA, I enjoy reading, watching Disney movies, and baking cupcakes! I am, also, finishing my degree in Secondary English Education this December. My goal is to become become dual certified (in English/FACS) and become a FCCLA Advisor.
